Viva La Vendetta

So last night, my brothers Jeffrey, Stephen, and I went out last night to celebrate St. Patricks day. Of course, Jeffrey and I wore green to avoid getting pinched. But Stephen was lame and didn't wear green. And we weren't allowed to pinch him, which was pretty cheap of him. He can't call the shots on a international holiday. But we just went ahead and let it slide.

So first we went to an exhibit at the museum, which had mostly modern art. It had all sorts of styles from films, canvases, sculptures, and just about anything can things of. This was a pretty exciting exhibition and much better than I thought it was going to be. I was very impressed and taken in by the exhibits. There was one piece that I found to entrance me deeply. It was a light shining onto the floor in the shape of a large trapezoid. It would change from a sorta sunset color to a fuschia nighttime color. Then you would see a shadow of a telephone pole come into view. And throughout the piece, there would be shadows of birds flying across the sky. Ipods, glasses, trains, bicycle wheels, and other objects would float through the picture. Then people would be fall from the sky periodically throughout the piece. It definitely caught my attention.

We then went to V for Vendetta afterwards. Stephen went home instead of going with us to see the film. We got there about an hour early so we would be able to get seats. We got there a little bit too early if you ask me. But Amber and two other friends of Jeffs. The movie ended up being better than I thought it would. It didn't go overboard with scenes and was able to get you quite involved with the story. I enjoyed it very much.

That's about all that happened that lovely evening.

  • That movie was extremely pimp. I don't care that i didn't agree much with some of the political points - I agree with the pimpness. That is all that matters. I loved the ending.
