So lately I've been think about Colansay and how I want my own piece of an island. So I started looking at pictures of Colonsay and I was wondering what I could find if I typed Mcphie in google. I ended up finding this photo:

I just thought it was neat that I found that photo.

We should forget about Aussies and Russians and start watching movies about crazy Scottish people who live on windswept islands.

I totally agree. Let's get a movie about the Scotts and watch it.

I think there was a Scot in Layer Cake...and that was a fabulous movie. Plus it has your boyfriend in it Vieve...I mean, not your boyfriend but your fantasy boyfriend.

I can honestly say that the Scotts are awesome and I encourage everyone within the reach of this comment to watch a movie about Scotland (either the highlands or the islands). There is nothing better than being a McPhie and getting to wear a kilt. Just ask Jeff how he feels about wearing a skirt.

I've been wanting to get a kilt to wear around the house. Do you know of anyplace that I can get one?

I just remembered that I have Pattersons and McDonalds in my family. Goes pretty far back, but I'm not without a bit Scot in my blood. One day we will return to the land of our fathers. We'll feast on porridge and dance among the heather.

I hope that there is nudity involved in this heather dancing.

Just as long as there is dancing. I must dance!!! We must dance!!!

err... well, Jeffrey, if you wear your kilt in the traditional manner, then the nudity thing kind of goes without saying...

That's true. When the wind blows, the twig and berries will be unveiled.

Hahaha, the twig and berries. So classic. Of course I'll go traditional genevieve. I wore a kilt to High School once and you'll bet I went traditional...almost.
